Barkat Cranes & Equipments Pvt. Ltd. (Formerly known as Barkat Hiring Company) was founded by Late Shri Gulbir Singh Bedi in 1971. The Company started off with one 3 ton forklift
and today is the proud owner of a fleet of over 100 heavy equipment's including one of the latest and largest capacity all terrain telescopic crane of 700 ton capacity (Demag AC 700) and one of the youngest and best configured crawler crane of 750 ton capacity
(Liebherr LR 1750) in India.
Late Mrs Bhupinder Kaur Bedi took over the reigns in 1984,becoming the only woman Chairman in the male dominated crane Industry and managed the Company
with the able assistance of her sons Mr. Manamar Singh Bedi and Mr. Gaganpreet Singh G.Bedi. Through the guidance of its founders, Barkat is now in a
premier position to offer various logistic services and support across the spectrum.
